Spice is a daily cooking challenge app built by a solo founder. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It is written to be read, not to be a legal maze.
The only personal data we collect at this stage is your email address, submitted voluntarily when you request early access via the waitlist form on getspiceapp.com.
We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personal data at this time.
Your email address is used solely to notify you when Spice is available for early access. We will not send marketing emails unrelated to Spice, and we will not contact you more than necessary.
Email addresses are stored in Loops, a US-based email platform. Loops is SOC 2 compliant. You can review their privacy practices at loops.so/privacy.
Your email address is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time. Once you unsubscribe, we will not contact you again.
You have the right to request that we delete your personal data at any time. To do so, email us at the address below with the subject line "Delete my data" and we will remove your record within 7 days and confirm when it's done.

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive your IP address when the page loads. This is standard practice for web fonts. If you prefer to avoid this, you can disable Google Fonts requests via a browser extension like uBlock Origin.
This site does not set any cookies. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising tools.
Spice is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively change how we use data already collected without notice.
